June 21'st Iceland has its annual Summer Sostice event, where native Icelandics and visitors gather to celebrate the longest day of the year. This being so significant since the sun never sets this particular day. This event is celebrated by a bon fire as well as hot spots to brouse around and learn facts about the special day.
May 18th to June 3rd, Iceland's capital Reykjavík hosts is anual Art Festival. A gathering celebrating music, visual art, dance, literature, design, and much more. All from local Icelandic people as well as special guests who vary in location. People such as Bob Dylan, Andy Warhol, and Bijök have attended this event and given back to the country.
